Clearly Visible, Unstoppable, near to the rails

The start was challenging for Clearly Visible (Dialed In), one of the favorites in the fourth race this Saturday at Charles Town. It was a low-level race with a value of just $5,000, but it managed to captivate several of those present at the racetrack.

While Cruz In The Castle (Windsor Castle), the black filly, took the lead in the race with the pressure from Tiz Michelle’s Way (Tizway), Clearly Visible, ridden by Puerto Rican jockey Marshall Méndez, remained at the back of the pack of ten competitors.

However, the goal was set after covering seven furlongs, and that was the signal for the horse trained by Gus Pesaturo to start its advance, always hugging the rails and not giving any advantage. It was there, in the final stretch, when Marshall Méndez didn’t lose faith in his mount and made a move on the frontrunner Cruz In The Castle, resulting in an exciting finish where Thunderturtle was also in the mix.

Another victory for Marshall Méndez with a mare he knows perfectly well, allowing him to surpass the sixty-win mark this year. He currently stands second in the jockey standings, aiming to replicate the success he had in a 2022 filled with triumphs.

El comienzo fue complicado para Clearly Visible (Dialed In), una de las favoritas de la cuarta carrera de este sábado, en Charles Town. Un lote bajo de apenas 5 mil dólares como valor, pero pudo levantar de sus asientos a varios de los presentes en el hipódromo.
